Zelenskyy called Trump a day after reacting to the possibility of Biden being dethroned in the November election. In an exclusive interview with BBC, Zelenskyy acknowledged that working with Donald Trump, if elected, would be hard but added that Ukrainians are hard workers. He said they are willing to work with anyone who is in power in the United States.

The Ukrainian president was in the UK to attend a meeting of the European Political Community (EPC), where he delivered a speech on Thursday. As Ukraine awaits the arrival of the F-16 fighter jets, Zelenskyy continued calls to the West for arms and ammunition. “It’s been eighteen months, and the planes still haven’t reached us,” he emphasized.

It has been a tough spring for Ukraine, with its troops withdrawing from the village of Krinki on the occupied eastern bank of the Dnipro River this week.
