Massive Violence in BJP Ruled State During Voting, Voting has been completed on thirteen seats in seven states. Election results will be declared on 13th July. After the voting is over, the All India Alliance has claimed victory on all thirteen seats, but serious allegations have also been made against BJP.

Voting Details and Allegations

Voting was held on Wednesday on thirteen assembly seats in seven states, including four assembly seats in West Bengal and three in Himachal Pradesh. During voting, reports of fierce clashes kept coming in from Uttarakhand throughout the day. Uttarakhand has a significant Muslim and Dalit population, which is considered decisive, and BJP has never been able to win the seat. Congress alleges that BJP resorted to violence at many places to prevent Muslims from voting in the elections, and all this has been done with the help of the administration because BJP is seeing its every goal.

Specific Incidents.

On the other hand, BJP candidate Kalyan Chaubey has been accused of giving money to voters in the by-election on the Maniktala seat of West Bengal. Amidst all this, reports of disturbances came in some places. The Election Commission claims that the election was peaceful. Among the seats where by-elections were held, 55% voting took place in Rupauli seat of Bihar, 78% in Nalgarh seat of Himachal Pradesh, 68% in Dehra, and 79% in Hamirpur seat. More than 76% voting took place in Amra seat of Madhya Pradesh. The highest voting was 81% in Vikravandi seat of Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, 70% voting took place in Kinglore seat of Uttarakhand and the lowest voting was 50% in Badrinath seat.

Weather and Voting Turnout.

Bad weather is also being held responsible for low voting in Badrinath. Questions are being raised as to why the Election Commission decided to hold voting in Badrinath seat during the rainy season. Apart from this, voting also took place in four seats of West Bengal. 68% voting took place in Ranaghat Dakshin, 70% in Raiganj, 68% in Bagdamesh, and 54% in Maniktala.

Post-Voting Analysis

The trends that are emerging after voting show that BJP’s position is weak. It is being claimed that it is difficult for the BJP to even open its account in the thirteen seats where voting took place. Despite this, India claims to have won all seats, leading to a massive controversy in the BJP ruled state during voting.
