Court Extends Remand Amid Health Concerns.

The Arvind Kejriwal Judicial Remand case saw significant developments today as the three-day CBI custody came to an end, leading to Arvind Kejriwal’s appearance in court. The CBI had sought judicial remand for Arvind Kejriwal instead of police custody, a move contested by his legal team. They argued that the CBI lacked sufficient grounds for judicial remand. Following arguments from both sides, the court has ordered fourteen days of judicial remand for Arvind Kejriwal starting today. He is scheduled to appear in court again on July 12th.

In addition to the remand proceedings, several applications were filed concerning Arvind Kejriwal’s health. His legal team requested provisions for medications, a glucometer, and specific dietary requirements due to his diabetes condition. The court acknowledged the medical needs and permitted him to continue his current medications and glucometer usage. The prescribed dietary regimen will also be maintained during his remand.

However, the CBI disputed claims during the proceedings, stating that it had not evaded any material during the three-day custody. They emphasized that if there were such materials, they would have been presented before the court. In response, Kejriwal’s legal team countered, arguing that the CBI failed to provide all necessary search documents during the proceedings, refuting CBI’s assertions.

The court’s decision to extend judicial remand and address medical concerns reflects the ongoing legal and health-related complexities in the Arvind Kejriwal Judicial Remand case. As developments unfold, the nation awaits further updates on Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial proceedings and health condition.
